Bring Back One-Page Theme to Roadmap

We’d really like to see the "optional" one-page theme make a comeback. It was on the roadmap before v12 but seems to have been dropped. While we love the current Enhance UI and prefer it over the outdated "sea of icons" style, but the reality is, users coming from cPanel still ask for that layout every day and strongly prefer it.

We’re still running a cPanel server just to keep up with these cPanel-addicted clients, and their number keeps growing. If Enhance brings back this theme, we’d finally be able to drop cPanel for good.

It would definitely help Enhance grab more market share, since most new users are coming straight from cPanel.

cPFence I totally agree with you and +1 for this. I realized "simple, new or old" is relative. Personally I like the current UI but I have guys who thinks this one is difficult and things are hidden. Having the one page theme would be good. Better if a client would choose which theme they want to use on their own.

gmakhs For those who have dev time as well as ability, this is a good suggestion. But some of us that are smaller, more boutique offerings do not have the man-power to pull this off with the level of scrutiny and security that might be required.

The API won’t give you a built-in theme inside the panel, it’s more suited for external integrations, not UI customization.

It would help, even Plesk has a more or less one page theme (yes I know there are many menus).

One thing that is killing our customers is how far down they have to dig for DNS management, I have noted this in the past.

Annoyingly I'm going to most likely have to re-open cPanel hosting, people aren't really getting along with the UI in our customer base. Coupled with the lack of customisation, custom organisation, and features cPanel users come to expect, we cannot convert them away in the main.

They no longer share ETAs, instead they show features which are currently under development on the roadmap 🙂
