Use more than one sever for backing up a website, for redundancy.

Could work either in parallel or in round robin.

I also think the idea of “backing up to more than one server” is very relevant. It could actually complement well what’s already being discussed in this other thread.

For me, it’s important not to rely on just one backup destination, mainly for redundancy — if one backup server fails or becomes unavailable, another one can still be there to take over.

If customers could add their own S3 endpoint it would be a cool feature for customers who know they shouldn't trust a provider to handle backups and disaster recovery. If their provider goes down, they could go to another enhance provider, enter same S3 info and restore backup.

It's likely this will be possible in the future, most of the underlying code now supports this. We're also working on the ability to share a backup server between multiple clusters.

Adam sharing one backup server would go a long way for us. Thanks for that in advance. Currently we have to manage multiple of them.
