I really wanted to like Upmind. The client UI is a breath of fresh air from WHMCS and the admin area is also easy to navigate. I loved the fact that you can translate every text in the UI into different languages and also you can limit payment methods by country.
However, it is way too limited being SAAS. There’s absolutely no way to develop you own modules and you are at the mercy of the Upmind’s team for integrations, but they don’t even update the product regularly. As of writing this, there have been no release notes for over 3 MONTHS.
Also there’s the simple fact that its SAAS so they have all of your client’s data and they are owned by another hosting group World Host Group, so who says they won’t try to scoop your clients down the road?
Needless to say, I’m migrating to WHMCS.
