Upload Large Files to Control Panel and using Cloudflare

Hello There,

I am using Cloudflare as a proxy for my Enhance Panel domain. I need to ask here how are you guys managing uploading files over 100 mb if you are using Cloudflare proxy?
Or have you disabled Cloudflare proxy and just using them as DNS?

I am asking because people might upload stuff or we might need to upload cPanel backups which are definitely more than 100mb.

What are your thoughts?

PradeepC Oh really! I thought we should not use a proxy in front of Enhance CP, so this is new.
Do you have any Tips and specifics about your experience deploying Cloudflare proxy with Enhance CP? Do you have certain rules in place?

You cant really, unless you directly upload the files. If you get Cloudflare Enterprise you get 1GB I believe, but even that is not enough.

I have Cloudflare enabled on CP, and I haven't bypassed any cookies as I am on the Free Plan. But it works exactly as it should without any errors. Only issue is the upload limit.

We wouldn't be able to get across the upload limit with Cloudflare. I do not understand why are the upload limits so minimal?

Zoinkies The Enterprise plan shows a limit of 500MB.

Rest everything works fine for me.

Adrien I have Cloudflare in front of Enhance, it’s not doable. You need Enterprise for cookie bypass.

PradeepC Traffic costs money. For you to move data via a "middleman" like, a CDN will create costs for the CDN provider.

Isaia-Arknet_PTY_LTD I know that traffic costs money, but when someone is paying approximately $6000 a month, the limiting factor for uploads doesn't make sense. Also, from what I have known, the bandwidth is charged extra even for the Enterprise plan after a certain limit. I may be wrong, but that is what I have heard. @Zoinkies Is this true?

@PradeepC traffic (bandwidth) is 100% billable in Cloudflare Enterprise. But it is my understanding that it is download only. But if you are uploading 1Gb files and have traffic eating that file up, you'll have an insane bill.

You'd definitely want to bypass Cloudflare for uploads if possible. Not sure what these large files are for but I'd find another way.

@Zoinkies correct I have Enterprise, and we definitely utilize the cookie bypass in a lot of scenarios.
