File manager Search/Filter function

A handy function on the file manager would be a search function in the current folder. (sometimes there are hundreds of files in a folder, and you are looking for that *.conf file) preferable would be to display only files containing searched terms.

A search in folders and subfolders might be good for finding lost files, and that is not a bad idea as well)

If anyone considers this a good addition, please like it 🙂

We have an open feature request for this.

Searching from the global search might be difficult unless you type a website parameter like "file.conf @Website:blah.com".

i do believe searching for files from the main search of the account has a different target, as it looks for accounts, companies, and stuff in the database,, It might create a terrible output if I, as admin, want to search for a conf file of WordPress and get returned 100* of or finds, that would not be helpful at all 🙂

Search in the current folder has the best outcome.

I feel like a simple search in the file manager surely cant be too hard?

AAPANEL does this quite well. And their panel is quite buggy lol. but the search works great.

Maybe it could literally just use grep and consuming the output displaying it.
