This is hella tricky; how do you justify realtime patching while at the same time potentially impacting a hosted client revenue? I've seen this first hand, even without RT patching and from wordpress management companies responsible for updates but not quite testing enough, resulting hundreds if not thousands of dollars in lost revenue.
