I miss a couple of basic stuff, like a notification when a reseller creates a website, or being able to sort on when a site is added for example in the overview screens, and i agree on that some things should be prioritized my list is:

Better log management, i would be able to read them thru the panel.
NGINX + apache2 proxy
Server disaster recovery
Integration of CSF firewall
Download website backups
S3 (and compatible) backup target
Let's Encrypt management panel
Mail thru mail.domain.ext
Enhanced outbound email spam prevention and detection
Crowdsec integration
DNSSEC support
Cpanel migration package upload

Accounts management + Storage management + Ability to upgrade accounts on storage limit reached.

Counting total storage - files (all folders from "/of account, not just public_html) + Mysql + Emails
(this needs to be done in a reliable way) can not be too hard, a little corn to collect this data going in the background few times a day.
A page where we can see (the aggregated data) and filter all accounts accordingly (be able to see) what's over etc.

3 . Ability for punishment (in settings, we should be able to setup automation like (if the account is over quota: Stop email service, block uploads, or whatever is suitable to make the client clean up the account or upgrade))
Google does it for emails, and others do it. It must work!

Ability to easily upgrade the account (as a client) (this is already working)

Remove 🙂
S3 implementation (not very important as there is already a working option) can be delayed.
NGINX + apache2 proxy (we have two performant servers for now) can be delayed.

Everyone will have different priorities according to their requirement, and everyone wants it fast.
It will take time for the team to build everything, and it won't happen any faster until they have more team members (seems unlikely soon).

Instead if we can just wait and let them develop, it would be great.

why not have a voting system for the roadmap, so we can vote for the feature that we want.

We really do need this. Everyone's opinions are different, but this would certainly help the team understand what the customers deem as important.

Right now, the #1 for me is "S3 (and compatible) backup target". Disaster recovery is pointless if you do not have off-site backups. My server's have a single point of failure and that's because all the backups are stored on a different HDD. I have RAID + 1 backup HDD. If this machine dies or blows up, I have no other backups.

@AdamM agreed, extremely happy with work and customer support across the board.

I want X has no doubt overloaded and deprioritized, I need X to scale.

On our end, we need 3 elements in place to scale, not 100.

functional staging for website owners

Beyond this, we do not require anything on the current roadmap to scale. For everything else, we can wait as it has zero impact on scaling, growth, and adopting Enhance in a meaningful way.

Why don't you build a Backup server dedicated, can be on a separate server or even in a different DC? (Enhance was built to work like that) I am using this and I have no issues.

I back up 2 production servers on 1 backup server and the 2 servers are on different DC one in Sydney and one in Brisbane, also Backup server is in a 3rd Datacentre.

If you can not afford (or not suitable) another full server, you can use a VPS, these guys sell them cheap (supposed to work well in the EU) (much cheaper compared to S3)

I see this as a good solution, especially if Server disaster recovery will be working (let's hope very soon).

As a note I figured out that if we could filter backups according to the server they were backed up from, and select all in 1 click, when the hardware gets faulty, (after Hardware is repaired by DC) install in a few minutes enhance and from backup server select all accounts that were on that server and click Restore. This would be a great feature.

Isaia-Arknet_PTY_LTD At the moment, I'm not aware of what the 'real plans' are for disaster recovery. There's so many version of a disaster that the solution provided by Enhance might not be good enough.

Your solution is great in theory (and it's certainly a solution) however, it's not fast enough for me, and possibly not redundant.

I recently moved 20GB~ of emails (via Enhance) from Atlanta -> Germany, this took 8 hours to complete. That was just one client. The individual backup/transfer of files causes the issue. I could have pulled a single backup file from S3 quicker than 8 hours.

My ideal solution is RAID on NVMEs and my backup drive also being NVMe attached to the current machine (that's what I currently have). This will be super fast at data transfer, backups, etc on the same machine. If a drive fails, we switch because of RAID. If the machine blows up, I can pull from S3 (assuming it's not individual files) faster than I can pull from an Enhance snapshot backup with individual files.

At the moment, I can't see any issue with enhance backup solution.
There are more critical features that they must implement now than s3.

I am not sure who are you using as DC but if that is the case, you might consider OVH and their Virtual rack option.
It seems to help a lot between regions.
I never used it as I do not offer services outside Australia.

Regarding individual files or a big backup file, I do not think this is related to S3 or another server, instead, it is related to how the backup is created/stored and transferred. this is a totally different topic, I guess.

If I am wrong I do not mind if anyone gets the facts right, as I guess we all have things to learn from this. (just do not doit like Zoinkies 🙂

AdamM How much were you paying each month and for how much GB/TB? Their pricing looks good, but their 'Segments' cost is confusing to me.

Also... it seems that they allow others to be a 'node' and store data. I'm not 100% sure I like that, although I'm sure the data is encrypted.

I've used them for years with literally no issues. Very knowledgable support, transparent company and can saturate a 1Gbit port both upload and download without issue.

Ingres is free. Egres isn't.

I hope Enhance will not go the way of Plesk... and added unnecessary features that burdened the control panel and which are unnecessary.
Plesk with version 18.0.54 introduce the Sitejet Builder extension. I understand that is not core control panel and is optional but... What does anyone need it for? A waste of time and a waste of potential that could be spent on more important functions.
I hope Enhance team will not add unnecessary features and software to us.

Plesk is constantly fixing bugs... Enhance in truth looks very good against this background, the errors are in a very small number and not critical. Enhance is a high-quality environment. I'm very happy about that.
