Questions about Enhance from a newbie

Hi guys,

I came across Enhance and I have to say that I am very impressed with its UI and featureset.

I have not deployed a demo yet, so I might be missing on certain key points, but I wanted to ask some questions:

Will there ever be support for Cloudlinux? Alternatively, as I read, it already has some kind of containerization...how does it work? Suppose one of the accounts/containers hosts a hacked wordpress website, will the server be vulnerable or there is no way for it to be hacked?
Any plans for a Softaculous integration or an in-house autoinstaller?
As for the pricing, its $0.15 for account on the lowest tier with addon domains being free (so one account can host 10 sites and still cost $0.15)?
How does the multi-server clustering work? The first Enhance server becomes the "master" and additional ones are like slaves?
Based on that hypothesis, can we have a dedicated Enhance server to be the master and the real webhosting machines to be slaves - or there is no point in that?

We don't intend to support CloudLinux. Our PHP containerisation and resource limits are similar in functionality to CloudLinux's CageFS/LVE features. The difference is that with Enhance it's built-in to the panel and no addon is required.

The containerisation does a very good job of protecting sites from cross infection. Even within the same subscription, a customer's websites are individually isolated.

It will not protect you from kernel level vulnerabilities and it's still very important to keep your kernel up to date through your system's package manager - everything else is handled by Enhance.

radi Any plans for a Softaculous integration or an in-house autoinstaller?

Enhance has a very mature auto installer for WordPress. We are adding more and are also considering an integration with Softaculous.

Correct, however addon domains do not benefit from the individual PHP containerisation they would enjoy if they were separate websites.

There is a single control panel server and then all other servers within your cluster just run the necessary services. This means all the websites on your platform are visible from a single panel even if you have hundreds of services. Internally we use gRPC over mutual TLS for communications between the control panel and the subordinate servers.

For larger clusters this is what we recommend. However if you start with a single server and deploy customer sites there, you can easily move them off to secondary servers in the future.

What happens if the license expires for non-payment? cPanel locks you out of the server, but you can still SSH into it. For DirectAdmin, no clue.
Have you considered offering perpetual licenses for example with no support or limited by number of accounts?
Any option to expedite the Softaculous integration? For example, sponsored development?
How do you stand with translations? Can Enhance be translated?

You and your customers will be unable to create or modify websites, you can still log in and update your licence and Enhance won't take sites offline.

No. Subscription licencing suits the hosting industry more since hosting itself is a subscription product. We are launching a partner program soon for customers who want to offer Enhance but who want to do their own support.

Unfortunately not. It's not possible to scale up the development team for individual features, since it takes months to onboard and train new backend developers to a level that they could take on a feature like this. However you will see from the release notes that we are iterating quickly and we know auto installers are a priority for a lot of Enhance customers.

radi How do you stand with translations? Can Enhance be translated?

radi What about themes?
