bocagua I can ditto that. I have used Imunify360 on Plesk for many years also. I started using cpGuard when I began moving over to Enhance. I have been very happy with the progress of this product, and it works well. There are some things on the wish list, but for now, I am happy to have something that replaces the stock modsec rules among other things.

The DB scanner for WordPress websites is in development and will be available soon. Following are the major new modules that we plan to add to cPGuard within first half of 2025

AI assisted scanner which can disclose unknown malware types ( releasing this month )

plus we are working on another major cPGuard wrapper product that will be announced soon. We are focusing on building generally useful modules that should work as guaranteed rather than some gimmicks.

danh Imunify360 (and also bitninja) pales in comparison to cPGuard and cPFence offerings...you'd be silly not to be using cPFence with Enhance

I’m a bit put off by the cpFense website and the fact that it spends 30 seconds loading those AI images. Back then, that was the reason I closed the site again for me (everything looks gimmicky because of the AI images + the page is extremely slow). Sorry @cPFence , but that’s not what I would call professional.

Anyways and to be fair: I didn't test the product. So this is only my superficial opinion. :

Thanks for the feedback. A complete redesign is already on our roadmap, especially since the software has evolved a lot over the past year and many newer features aren’t reflected on the current site. Right now, most users only discover them after using the software or reading the blog, so a new sales page is definitely needed.

Cpfence is ok for Enhance but can't compete against other commercial services like immunify 🙂

I understand your point, and honestly I had a similar first impression just looking at the website.

That said, to be fair, I’ve been using @cPFence for a few days now and my experience with the product itself has been very positive. The installation was straightforward, it didn’t require much tweaking, and it started blocking attacks almost immediately.

I do agree that the panel can feel a bit overwhelming at first because there are many options, but once it’s running, everything works as expected and it’s mostly “set and forget”.

Also worth mentioning: the support team has been very responsive. Every time I’ve had a question or an issue, their response time has been fast and helpful.

So yes, the website and marketing might not reflect it very well, but from a purely technical and operational point of view, the tool has been solid so far.

I’ll just quote what we already said to you, no need to repeat it.

If you follow the uninstall instructions in the link above, every single file created by cPFence will be fully removed and reverted. That said, if you spot any leftovers, we’re happy to check and patch it right away.

[unknown] cPFence might not be perfect, but Imunify is much worse. We used it on our cPanel servers, but they had a vulnerability they didn't disclose, making servers with Imunify less secure than those with no protection. We switched to cPGuard, and we are seeing far fewer security-related infections and support tickets. I would never recommend Imunify to anyone.

We've been using @cPFence for over a yearl now since we moved away from cpguard which also a fantastic software no doubt about it, but you need to understand every software is different and their offerings are different and in case of enhance let's be honest here enhance is still not matured enough, there are so many gaps still needs to be filled and that's where cpfence comes to fill some of those gaps like automated crash recovery of essential services, keeping abusive queries in check and automatically kill them to stop resource abuse using automysql etc. then there's automatic outbound spam control believe me this is a underrate feature but when any of the mailbox gets compromised and hijacked it could be sending over 50k spam emails at once and this feature is very important in scenarios like these. And so many other things..

But hey not everything is perfect these guys are fine tuning their software like there's no tomorrow and you want that.. support is great also.. immunify360 is a enterprise grade software so im not sure cloudlinux team cares to launch it for enhance anytime soon.. so use cpfence or cpguard doesn't matter its upto what you need...
