Is it possible to install CPGuard WAF on OLS ?

Adrien We've been running Imunify360 for 2 years and sleep at night now. No hacks, no cracked sites, just crickets chirping! We use to mess with CSF and CSX and dealt with all the rules, config settings, and constantly tweaking and chasing false positives.

I'm waiting for Imunify360 and Mod_Security integration before I think about migrating our stable cPanel servers to enhance.com

What concerns me is the dependence on Ubuntu as the core OS vs Alma, CloudLinux and other mature OS's

PradeepC We've had ZERO issues with Lightspeed Enterprise and performance is WAY above Apache. While Apache and NGINX have their following, LS is a commercial product and is a drop-in replacement for Apache. No brainer.

MediaServe thanks for the confirmation. I am new to cpguard. I have already installed it except the waf. Can you please guide me how can I now install waf only (on OLS)

badboybackagain You can follow the instructions and once CPGuard is installed, you can check their dashboard, from where you can switch the WAF on.

PradeepC On turning it on from dashboard it's giving me the following error:

WAF server configuration missing/incorrect

I am running OLS.

badboybackagain Did you install cPGuard on an Enhance server? Did you provide the org id and token properly during installation? Everything works smoothly in my experience as long as the instructions are properly followed. On the server where the WAF isn't working, you might be able to reconfigure at the command line with:

cpgcli standalone-conf --wizard

Both OLS and LS work fine, and Apache is just missing the WAF for the lack of ModSecurity support.

Hey - some updates/news about imunify360 integration? We‘re really interested in this feature.

Is Immunify360 removed from the roadmap?
Are there no plans to integrate it with Enhance?
or by mistake it has been removed?

It relies on imunify360 doing some work their end to support Enhance. Last time we spoke to them they were considering when to commit development time to this. cpguard and bitninja have already done the work.

Here is someone who has been using imunify for years in cPanel but cpguard has been a complete surprise, these guys are very strong

bocagua I can ditto that. I have used Imunify360 on Plesk for many years also. I started using cpGuard when I began moving over to Enhance. I have been very happy with the progress of this product, and it works well. There are some things on the wish list, but for now, I am happy to have something that replaces the stock modsec rules among other things.

plus we are working on another major cPGuard wrapper product that will be announced soon. We are focusing on building generally useful modules that should work as guaranteed rather than some gimmicks.
