NGINX Breaking my site on Oxygen

It seems that NGINX is breaking my Oxygen page-builder, I can't use OLS(htaccess refreshes), I can't use Apache(too slow), and I can't afford LS, so NGINX is my only alternative. I have a small shop on my site also, and it appears NGINX breaks checkouts, and adding to cart. If I switch to Apache briefly, it seems to fix it, no issues at all.

How can I make it work? I've tried php.ini settings, and conf settings too 🙁!

Did you add the rewrite rule in developer tools?

WordPress permalink on existing websites will not work. You will need to add a rewrite under "developer tools" from / to index.php. For new WordPress installations on Nginx this will automatically be created.

We're aware that the default nginx config is causing some issues with some WordPress plugins/themes. We are investigating and hopefully will have a solution shortly.

It would be really amazing if we could set some custom things in the nginx virtualhost configuration.
And besides that. It would be perfect if we can also edit a enhanced-custom.conf that is included in the default nginx.conf

that's why we need to have control of the nginx configuration ourselves 🙂
Let enhance set a default, if enhance customer wants to put in custom code. Allow us to complete change the configuration enhance places. Even if its 1 on 1 copy of the config file its fine. 🙂

Is there anyway of working around apart from switching web server? I’m going to end up losing clients soon, need a fix asap

You could manually edit the virtualhost if you know what config is required to make your site work. It will however be overwritten if the virtualhost is changed.

If it's at a stage where you're going to lose a client then you should switch to Apache or LiteSpeed.

OLS doesn't load htaccess files until restart so any newly created websites won't be able to SSO until the next time you restart OLS. LS (commercial) does not have this problem.

Apache shouldn't be crashing, it's an incredibly mature and stable web server. Do you mean the server is being overloaded due to lack of full page caching or that Apache itself is failing?

Adam sorry, can’t use OLS b/c plugins changing Htaccess for rewrites (SEO), Apache gets too overloaded. Client can’t afford a dedicated LS license
