Bitninja ram usage

I am trialing Bitninja on my 4 GB ram Enhance server. Otherwise it works good, but ram usage is high.

If I enable Bitninja, ram usage is between 93-96 % all the time. If I disable Bitninja, it drops to 75% and if I reboot my server after disabling Bitninja it drops to 44 % and stays there.

I've had chat with Bitninja staff, they are friendly guys and have a great product.

Anyhone else have this problem / experience???

Have you got any solution from the Support Team? Is the issue Fixed or Still eating RAM?

Hennie I had the same issue with a directadmin server. As soon as Bitninja was running it crashed my server. They could not fix, so I left.

Right now, im testing cPGuard on my Enhance server, and so far so good.

Hi, after investigating issue, BN support said it's normal and there is nothing to worry. I might disagree. 😎 So I uninstalled BN. With CpGuard RAM usage is about 60 % vs BN 92 - 97 %.

On a server with 8GB RAM, I also have a consumption of around 90% ... so it is not known how much RAM BitNinja needs in the end ...

Were BitNinja guys able to fix the issue for this or is it still there?
Also, are you still with BitNinja or have moved to cPGuard?

We've opted for CPGuard for now, pricing is better compared to BN for now. So far happy, its doing its job well and not consuming too much ram.
