Email passwords can't be changed by users [LOGGED]

Hi,

This is getting a deal breaker for me. My clients want that the email users should be able to change their own passwords. I can't see any setting for this. Anyone is aware?

This is coming soon. The underlying functionality is there, we just need to integrate into the default Roundcube deployment.

To clarify, the hosting client can change the password for any of their users. The end users need to ask the domain admin (website owner) to change the password for them, for now.

Thanks for replying @Adam . However, my users are govt. officials and they don't like to share their passwords with anyone. 🙁 Any ETA we are targeting for this. Or any patch that you can provide for me?

Not yet but we will add it to the roadmap soon.

I see this functionality being limited for Google Workspace and Microsoft Outlook too, where sometimes network admins do not allow end users to change passwords due to security risks. Also, @badboybackagain , you shouldn't be hosting govt. officials emails on Enhance as of now, as there is still a lot of essential functionality that is not yet built, and emails land too much in spam boxes.

That should be resolvable. Does your IP have a good reputation? Is DKIM enabled on the domain?
