Moving a WP site to Enhance

Hey guys

I am doing some testing with enhance, and I am trying to find the best/easiest/fastest way to move WP site to enhance.

So if I have a lot to do of migrations, I don't want to spend a day doing it manually.
Something easy that even my clients could do.

I was thinking of adding a new website with WP installed. But when I click on the login into admin, that fails to load.

So I thought, then I would create a staging site, do a backup on the client's site with a plugin (wpvivid), and then import the backup on the staging site (wpvivid), then push it live. (Best solution I can come up with so far)

But when I set up a staging site, I can not load it. I get a server not found.

So any ideas on how to easily migrate a WP site.

It would be greatly appreciated.

The staging site started to work (I guess I needed to wait a little longer)
I use wpvivid to migrate the site. Worked well.

If the team at Enhance can come up with a tool to do WP migrations, that would be amazing. I got lots of sites to move. That is one thing holding me back.

kyzoeadmin Thank you for the share. I did see that, but most cases my clients have their website hosted on shared hosting servers like cPanel or directadmin and don't have root access.

Andreas oops, then i only can recommend all in one migration plugin.

kyzoeadmin no worries. I appreciate the help. I ahve been using WP Vivid as my go to plugin. Works very well.
Im going to test the site to site transfer shortly.

It would be nice to have an automatic migration tool for clients to use though.

+1 in case this turns into a feature request.

I used my wpvivid plugin to do a site to site transfer and it worked flawlessly.

Just an update for you guys, maybe this will help someone down the road.

The WPvivid plug is great for smaller sites.

I had a larger site 3.5GB site, and sadly I had issues with it.

I then tried the all in one migration plugin, and it worked fine on it. And much faster.

I have the direct ext transfer option as well, but that failed. But I think it was because I have mod security running on the server, and it was getting blocked.

I will try another migration later and turn mod security off, then use the all in one with direct extention and let you know how that worked out.

Andreas We have used WPVivid for sites up to around 30GB... BUT, it can go wrong on both download side (origination) or upload... We typically FTP or ssh files for large sites into the new host.

We have also used Aleeba Backup for WP, which works fine, but has a lot of steps, and I am going to try the one mentioned by CloudyShaper Migrage Guru in their post above....
