They're not supposed to see that tab, it's a UI bug that we fixed in 9.10.1 but if you updated in the first few hours after release you might not have received the patched UI. There will be another release in the next few days to address this.

The end user can't actually see your config, they will see an error. If you can see it it's because you are impersonating from the master organisation which has access to this data.

Backup if configured on disk and S3, are happening simultaneously, any plan to give more control over it to have more visibility, and which backup will take precedence in case of corruption during restoration?

I noticed that the S3 backup documentation in Enhance mentions Backblaze? Is there any reason for making a tutorial with Backblaze instead of Wasabi? Price? Reliability?

alenguav Backblaze is the cheapest (wasabi looks cheaper, but the lifecycle they force on you can turn out far more expensive). Still.. I have no idea why Enhance mention Backblaze.

That being said, have you looked at the Enhance backup server role? It's far more efficient for backups than using S3 (unless you only have a few sites).

xyzulu Backblaze doesn't work well with Enhance. As far as I know, it has a different API. I used both Backblaze and Enhance, and the issue was that old backups were not being deleted, which caused the disk usage on Backblaze to constantly increase. I switched to Wasabi, and the problem was resolved. Old backups are now being deleted, and the disk usage on Wasabi is what it should be. That's why I would recommend Wasabi more. I would also add that in my case, Wasabi has better upload and download speeds.

I have this issue too and have to manually delete the old files. I imagine its an issue with any S3 backup target though. No issues with upload speed or restore speed though.

It works well.. use the S3 compatible endpoint and you will have no issues.

xyzulu The backups are done properly, but there's an issue with deleting old backup copies. This problem doesn't exist with Wasabi. In Wasabi, I have 50GB of backups from the past 4 days, while in Backblaze, I had 250GB because the old backups weren't being deleted as they should.

DracoBlue This is something I haven't taken the time to check, but it's not a big problem, as you can directly use the lifecycle rules from Backblaze or another provider, which allow you to set up various things, including automatic file deletion after X days/hours...
