Adam I think that must be a coincidence. The file manager doesn't use PHP anywhere. A failure to unzip a file usually means there are conflicting files in the same directory or that the zip file is corrupt in some way. What happens if you try to unzip it via user SSH into the same directory?
I am not falsely claiming this on a public forum. I've tried unzipping the same file multiple times, and it works perfectly as long as I don't change the PHP version. However, when I update the PHP version, the File Manager just won't unzip anything and shows an error!
I haven't tried using SSH yet, but honestly, most of our users are non-techies who wouldn't use SSH. They need something easy to use, like the File Manager. That's why I think this issue needs to be fixed ASAP. As a panel provider, you guys should really investigate this and figure out what's going on.
Adam Regarding Lightsail, I don't know much about it but if it's a clean empty Ubuntu 22.04 server, fully virtualised (not Xen PV, LXC, Virtuozzo, etc) with nothing preinstalled (web server, DNS server, mail server, etc) then it should install absolutely fine. As @JohnB said, if you would like to raise a support ticket, we can attempt the installation for you and see what the problem is.
Adam, As mentioned earlier, I've attempted to set up Enhance on a fresh LightSail Ubuntu 22.4 VPS, but unfortunately, I've encountered issues every time. I believe this community is intended for discussing, suggesting, and reporting general issues, which is why I'm sharing the problems I've faced.
If you'd like me to create a support ticket, I don't have any new information to provide there; I'll essentially be reiterating what I've mentioned here. Given that you are the panel provider, I suggest checking from your end by deploying a new server and conducting tests.
I am a well-wisher of Engance panel; that's why I am investing my time to test the panel, discussing, and suggesting new features to improve the system. If you just counter my reported issues without investigating on your end, then I may have no choice but to discontinue my subscription and throw it away. Currently, I'm using Enhance for testing purposes and haven't yet considered it for our production server.
