Appcd 2.2.0 - OpenLiteSpeed auto reload

We have released appcd 2.2.0 which now monitors your document roots for .htaccess changes and will reload OLS when a change is detected. This is preferable to the cron method as it's almost instant.

This is a brand new feature so please let us know if it doesn't work as expected.

Unfortunately I confirm what has already been said by tweet, to date all the changes made to the OpenLiteSpeed Web Server configuration do not persist and will be lost when virtual hosts are updated through Enhance.

However, for those who think that this option is important, I have created a request and if you want you can vote for it (the more we are, the better) by liking the first post (the one of my request), furthermore anyone is welcome in the discussion and request, to which I leave you the link below:

FabioP it would be a big win for enhance if they got persistent config. Not even litespeed's recommended panel can do that (I think litespeed actually barred their employee that runs cyberpanel from making that feature lol). Enhance can be one of the only ones that can use OLS to it's full potential.

Hi twest, yes I totally agree with you.

If the Enhance Control Panel could make the configuration of the OpenLiteSpeed Web Server settings persistent it would be absolutely the best Web Control Panel for those who use OpenLiteSpeed as a Web Server considering the fact that the CyberPanel Control Panel in my opinion is absolutely not it can be used on production sites, it is also updated only once every year and has a lot of open bugs (you can check on GitHub) and their forum is practically as if it didn't exist, no one ever answers you.

However, the Enhance Developer Team is exceptional, the fact that they have released the automatic .htaccess reload function for OpenLiteSpeed in itself is already something truly excellent and I am convinced and hope that very soon they will also be able to release persistence for the configuration of the OpenLiteSpeed Web Server.

Interesting. i have around 30 LiteSpeed licenses, for CP, DA and Enhance. i'll try out OLS.
