Best way to restart OLS?

A button for restarting OLS will be helpful, but is there no way to gracefully restart a single website? I had a client with a VPS migrated to Enhance, and he decided he wanted to switch to OLS from Apache. Everything worked great (surprising because of some non-WordPress websites with lengthy/complex .htaccess files which didn't cause any problems) but WordPress needed Permalinks settings resaved to fix those. I really want to replace Apache with OLS (performance improved tremendously!) but I'm wondering if a client with a twitchy trigger finger is going to cause all websites to glitch temporarily while OLS is restarting? Might be worth building in some sort of limit to the use of that button for each Org?

We have similar functionality for when websites are being added - adding 100 websites in one go via the API won't reload the web server 100 times, the requests are batched. If we allowed VPS customers to perform on-demand restarts, they would use the same logic.

Imagine, being able to save on LSWS replacing it with OLS.. would be nice.

Do you mean that 1 customer needing a reload would be put on hold waiting for other requests from other customers to batch them? I'm sorry I am not sure to have understood.

If it's a VPS then by definition they are the only customer. We're talking at most a delay of a few seconds but it's enough to stop the web server from being disrupted.

Adrien I think Adam is suggesting that multiple restart requests would be batched so that within a certain timeframe only one restart would happen. All might depend on the time interval, which would be nice to be configurable. That'd be infinitely better than having a trigger happy client on a shared server with other clients disrupting thing too badly.

Did this make the April update? Haven't seen it yet but I'm also not sure where I would find it either.

slimx in the latest version you don't really need the button. Enhance will now auto detect changes to htaccess and restart.
