I meant the Enhance team, they drop in once a week or so to see if things are on fire, and to update a few post subjects with "released" when a new release is made, whereas 2023 posts got almost instant constructive engagement from Adam and other Enhance team members. I understand the change with a growing company, I'm just mentioning it since posting and upvoting on the community doesn't affect much anymore in terms of development.

If the time comes where critital mass has been reached with large customers due to the work Adam has been doing behind the scenes the last 1.5 year, and significant expansion of the team is unavoidable, this might change again, but for now it is what it is.

nhybgtvfr I can see the cause for speculation and can confirm that our retail offering will not be impacted by the launch of the partner program. The benefits listed on the partner program are comparable to other cp's partner programs, not our retail offering.

When it comes to feature requests, partners will have a larger weighting - the more revenue we generate the more we can push back into development.

The main difference is that you're charging for support requests when comparable offerings from say cPanel as the biggest, are inclusive.

Furthermore, when the sole determination is by you as set in the terms as to if something is charged or not, would be questionable when majority of requests are about issues because a) they're not implemented correctly or fully or b) have workarounds or c) undocumented.

What assurances are we going to get if we start pumping thousands in to Enhance that you're going to focus on bugs instead of rushing through features. Bugs which you've known about for years and have promised fixes "in the next release" which to date, have not materialised?

I for one hope the Partner Program is successful. The more money Enhance brings in, the better the product gets.

It’s also obvious they will cater to the highest paying customers, every company does this one way or the other.

XN-Matt Why do you keep stating you're gonna pump a lot of money in Enhance? Are you selling that much standalone Enhance setups? As far as I understand retail licences just keep the support.

Given the hefty deposit amounts, the reference is correct.

This is nothing to do with "stand alone" setups. This is to do with committing to Enhance, in the same way that cPanel licence holders are "Partner NOCs". You commit to them (i.e min spend) and in return you get better pricing.

Enhances partner program is different in that they want bulk payments ahead of time but offer you discounts in doing so - so the end result is the same.

It is not solely a "reseller" program just to resell licences.

XN-Matt Sorry, but a quick google search shows that cPanel Partner NOCs 'Purchase and maintain a significant number of licenses'. So not every cPanel licence holder is a NOC.

If you are a big company and are able to spend the amount required for the partner program you can save a few bucks on your own licence, but you will have to pay for support. Either way, I see that as a win for Enhance.
