twest When i first raise concern about this i said exactly what you were saying, my point was n is there's a process to jumping towards big updates, there were more small features required still to manage hosting business, full revamp shouldn't be disclose till its ready and furthermore it is being developed under the hood in separate branch of development, separate from stable one, where in stable the frequent patching, security vulnerabilities is addressed, and you're telling us that 'People's livelihoods depend on stable updates'? exactly! thank you for proving my point, there are a lot of a risk with not patching security vulnerabilities and its most likely the reason to bankrupting a business!
And, we also do not want broken version out man, what are we idiots or what? you gyus are just don't able to understand the concern we are raising!
And what you think that enhance team is pressurized? nah man, they know exactly how to handle these things so dont worry about them, they are running this we agree or disagree. I were never against team, i love enhance n all its passionate team, i just have my own suggestions and opinions because i have some kinda experience and so does other members.
My point here only is that, this big revamp isn't neccesary at this point, bcz,
- you don't have enough man power,
- you don't have aplha/beta branches to manage vcs (version control system),
- there are more pressing concerns to address to manage hosting business and winning customers and we too have mouths to feed and without winning customers we can't do that effectively.
- Delays in patching security vulnerabilities is dangerous
So please let others deploy their thoughts n opinions here, and respect constructive criticism!
