Upgrade, and we plan to do it today
Upgrade, but after last night's SuperBowl, not sure I want to trust my team and myself to attempt it on Day One.
I will be the guinea pig. My cluster is non-critical and practically hosts 2 websites. The only thing that might delay the update is my schedule.
If the update fails, I'll do a fresh install. Hell, I might do a fresh install even if the update goes well.
twest Fresh install would be an insane migration, we'll upgrade.
Yeah this isn't like upgrading from Windows 8 to windows 10 lol. This is linux software written by good developers. Fresh install is a waste of time.
Honestly I don't want a panel that can't handle its own updates lol especially if stability is a major selling point.
Love how everyone was dying for the update but now everyone wants to see others test it first lmao
I love how everyone ....where's the update?
Is it just me, or enhance hosting seems heavier today? jk
I think it is due extensive CTRL + F5 from clients
Isaia-Arknet_PTY_LTD Well the workday is almost gone, so i guess we wont see it today
The trust displayed here in various update announcements is admirable, perhaps even bordering on the obsessive.
mastershammer there is no trust, basically this update made me lose faith completely, specially after announcing 10 of February, and then suddenly more bugs appeared...
I am mean is obvious there is a root problem here..... is it the dev team, is the team coordinator, is the QA i don't know but something is wrong .... I am writing this very frustrated while i am facing an issue with the enhance that shouldn't happen to any online service. so please excuse my tone
LOL. This was a topic about new install or upgrade... guess it is becoming clear who might have planned to upgrade within seconds of v. 12 dropping....
Which is great for those of us who, seeing the long dev time on this release, are a bit reluctant to drop it onto our production systems on day one... especially with so much re-factoring taking place.
Planning to start testing it from v12 as a fresh install as I want to test many things with it and WordPress setups and fast caching, and when I am happy I start using it live after 1 or 2 releases into v12. I am coming from Directadmin so no super hurry everything works but for future ideas and scaling I like Enhance more.
