mbe81 Thanks for the information! When you followed this procedure, did you lose your backup retention? Also, did you use rsync or scp to transfer data between servers and then back to the original?
We have eight servers, hundreds of websites, and terabytes of backup data, so I’m really hoping we don’t have to migrate backups to another server, reload the original, and then move them back. Our upgrade went smoothly—no errors, and we followed the procedure exactly—so I’m not sure what would make this method different from a direct upgrade, unless something went wrong that didn’t get outputted.
The backup system was a major reason we moved to Enhance, and it’s worked really well for us so far. I’m hoping they can get this sorted out, but if worst comes to worst, we may have to spin up another server.
