DracoBlue I was hoping to go this week too, buttttt I'm hoping to see resolution for the various backups issues going on first - like continued problems with dedupe, no logs, etc.

I'm probably going to keep my btrfs server running as is and see how that goes. Want to make sure there's no glaring issues with backups before taking the plunge.

Maybe 1 more week of wait 🙏

Yes. The existing keys that weren't visible after V12 suddenly appeared and started working again after that fix. No need to re-add or roll keys or anything.

Had to reset some FTP passwords -- couldn't log into existing FTP accounts after the upgrade. I reset them to the pre-existing passwords, and my file automation scripts started working again.

btraill Did you encounter other major issue after v12? Like backups or services crash?

Vendoz Nothing yet personally. I'm not a 'big player', but I do have a number of sites. No one has reported anything yet either (other than resetting some FTP users passwords).

The only thing left to be addrsesed from everything I've read given the CloudFlare issue is also good to go is the backups.
It seems SOME users are having issues, some aren't.

I actually believe it is safe to upgrade, I will probably go for it this week with @DracoBlue 😃 lol let's discord it together 😃 ?

Make sure to adjust your backup strategy timing, such as switching to weekly backups instead of daily, as the deduplication is currently not functioning in version 12.0.19. Each backup is being treated as a full new backup. Plan accordingly for this issue and monitor your backup server disk usage.

cPFence I can’t see anything unusual on my clusters for the backups. All seems functional on my side… I am on 4h backups.
But I had issue to log in and had to reboot cp.
( Maybe because I update from terminal OLS)

The 20.18 version solved my duplication issues. Currently I have a 4 hour backup with 4 days of retention (building up again to 30 days) at almost no extra space in comparison to a full backup.
