Kosta your analogy is nonsensical. Blocking access to file manager is not blocking users access to their data. They can use CLI or FTP or other means depending on their app (ie, a file manager plugin or backup plugin in wordpress).
In your analogy, a more proper comparison would be if your bank decided to stop ATM services, so you had to go into the bank to withdraw money. It's less convenient for you, but you're not entitled to ATMs if they don't want it for their business.
I do the same thing with other Enhance features. For example, I disabled the clone and staging site functionality, because it's not high enough quality for my customer's needs.
I imagine many other business owners would want to limit access to file manager, for whatever reason, all valid reasons. Everyone isn't running the same cookie cutter hosting business.
