Yes xyzulu. The invitation worked. I'm in. JohnB scratching head, hmmm, was logged in with different account (not mine) ..... Switch to my own account and it worked. I need to setup guest account on my machine.

Please be careful making assumptions or statements about others.
If you need confirmation, Adam White can verify my setup—feel free to ask him.

I started the Discord server to support the community and gave admin rights to those who earned trust through their actions. I don't know you, and we haven't had any interaction until now.

Why are you starting another server and trying to pull people over from the one I was permitted to begin by Adam White? That's not cool, mate.

In any case.. it's nothing personal at all. If you were active on these forums I would have interacted with you. Perhaps I could have used a better choice of words.. ie "someone who doesn't appear to be active in the Enhance community anymore".

Doesn't sound like me, always happy with a conversation.. so, hey.. it's nice to "meet" you. As for control.. I prefer saying that if there is something I can do easily to fill a gap I will, especially if it doesn't require someone approving it. Have you see what I have worked up on Github? Have you read any of my posts? I didn't come down in the last rain shower.

Because it appeared inactive (not up to date content like we see here on these forums), spammy (self promotion posts/links), annoying Discord "welcome to blah blah" when new people join posts.. moderators and admin not active in the Enhance community.

Setting up a new one took 15mins.. it facilitated some good conversations around some recent Enhance issues on v12.. it's been a success for me.. maybe for others.. who knows.. I'm not particularly invested.

What is it you want from me? I've just created a space and let it grow from there. If you want to contact me, maybe do it outside of this thread.. no one wants to waste time on this .. whatever you want to call it.. "Brad being not cool". It's not hard to find my contact details...

PS I feel like I missed something... all this energy from you into this.. feel free to flag this thread with Enhance if you think I've broken their forum rules.

.. man.. just trying to help around here and a user who never does has got all upset. Very strange.. something is perhaps being missed in "translation".

xyzulu Ok, maybe I did get you wrong. I’ve been a passionate advocate for Enhance from day one and set up the Discord because, at the time, there was no real-time space for users to connect and support each other. Your post just hit me like the community I’d worked to build wasn't considered valid or useful — which is why I responded the way I did.

That said, I get it now — it wasn’t personal. You saw a need, filled it your way, and it’s worked for you and others. Fair enough. At the end of the day, we both care about the Enhance community and want to see it thrive.

No hard feelings — let’s just keep helping people however we can.

Perhaps we'll see you around on these forums more? They are quite active these days.. and are the only "official" Enhance Community.

I would imagine if @scottnailon is more active here, people would join his server as well.

I would suggest that if you want more activity, you need far fewer rooms. If two servers have 20 users, the one with 5 rooms will seem way busier than one with 20 rooms. At the end of the day if a server FEELS empty or slow, few people engage.
