Adrien I get you 100%, we use to use Sage, the most top-tier accountancy solution available, and that let you edit invoices no issue. Upmind is so rigid it’s not usable in a lot of situations. I think it’s a cop out to be honest, WHMCS, etc all web hosting management tools let you edit invoices, I just don’t think Upmind can implement that change. Even invoicing tools like Xero etc let you edit invoices lol.
It’s one of the reasons I’m heading back to WHMCS soon, too expensive(like 15$ per support seat, lmao!), not flexible enough, and is slowing innovation for us, it’s taken Upmind months to add/update the smallest thing, which I could’ve done within a few hours on WHMCS.
I’m still waiting for provision groups, a simple fundamental function, I’m manually provisioning SSL(s), currently, my new WHMCS build does all of this automatically and it only took me two hours to write a module for SSL(s).
Adding onto this, a few of my peers in web hosting have the same sentiments and either didn’t move to Upmind or are planning to leave soon once they’ve got WHMCS ready.
To clarify this isn’t a bitch post aimed at Upmind at all, I just don’t think a solution you have zero customisation over, zero control or access to as a SaaS product will be usable in this industry where innovation requires rapid development.
