The client selects a server location when he creates a site [ROADMAPPED]

From a general hosting point-of-view, I think @Adrien's suggestion is a valid one. Most up-to-date hosting providers like SiteGround allow you to select a location.

I have clients all over the globe but I only have a handful of clients who require the option to 'select' their location (primarily web agencies). For me, I do all of this manually, so this option would save a bit of time.

If this option was added, I would also like to restrict hosting for clients who are not on certain packages (and I believe I can already do that) as certain locations are premium.

This sounds a little like having groups of groups and a subscription/package option to allow customers to be able to choose a group within the group at time of website creation. I think the exact implementation comes down to i) how enhance sees its integration with billing control panels in the future (there are still a lot of unknowns surrounding how a customers adds one more mailbox, or adds more storage to a website, or is billed for overage on bandwidth) because the current model necessitates the "many packages" approach being built into the billing control panel level and ii) if/how enhance expects to support massively parallel operators (is it recommended to have one cluster to rule them all with tens of thousands of customers and hundreds of thousands of website), or multiple clusters (potentially per country) which again feeds back into if things need be done at the billing or cluster level.

Do you mean that you would like Upmind to select the location from the server groups you made available to that plan, when it adds the website on behalf of the customer? If so, that's something Upmind would need to implement. They will be able to pull the available server groups from getPlan and they can then submit the serverGroupId when calling createWebsite.

WHMCS doesn't have awareness of your server locations when provisioning a new account. Generally you would provision the hosting through WHMCS then let the customer choose the location at the point of website creation. As an alternative, some customers choose to run a separate cluster for each location which would then enable you to move the location choice into WHMCS.
