I would personally say the exact opposite from @KHR.

Been running it on multiple VMs with and w/out DB roles, with a minimum of 4vCPU cores and 8GB RAM, and on a single one 16GB RAM. It took a 2GB MySQL 8 dump like a charm through phpMyAdmin. Would I prefere to do it via CLI? Definitely, will I do it in CLI in the future to save time? Most likely, but testing it for a few weeks now, I'm more than happy with what the team is doing and how they are keeping up.

Yes, it's a new product, yes, it has its kinks that we'll have to iron out, and yes, it will take time. Name one panel that has a support team respond in < 1h on average during business hours in Europe. That's impressive! Keep it up guys, and we'll be there to back you up!

Yes, I'd say that pretty closely mirrors our experience with Enhance. It's not perfect but it is evolving rapidly and is stable and works very well, plus support requests are answered and dealt with very quickly and politely by highly able people who know what they are doing.

Solonavi I have had some issues, but every time, the support team has helped fix the issue very quickly. Additionally, the whole Enhance experience has been refreshing compared to so many ongoing issues with a competitor product.

We had our cluster up and running in a couple hours, hosting within the day. The customers whom we moved have been very happy.

Support were very quick and fixed our install issue on one of the nodes, even though it was highly unusual. At this point they are fantastic, long may it continue

psybox Yes. But only because several of my Web Design Partners are Joomla addicts. So, I have part of my infrastructure (My Enhance spans 3 data centers) setup for J! hosting, and they manually install.

They have been pouting a bit that our "new" systems don't automagically install J! for them...

I told them, that is all coming in the "near future..."

Tech Karens. They are used to complaining to get their way and have absolutely no understanding how technology or development works. Since they are always right, you can't reason or troubleshoot with them. They just shut down with "well it should work" "is it fixed yet?" no its not because they refuse to provide useful info or they want the impossible... like a good experience on lightsail.

I once had a client who insisted that a .txt file could have formatting and gave me a bad review because when he opened a txt file that my program exported on another computer, the "formatting" was different. Obviously... that "formatting" is just notepad's font setting. I explained that so clearly and suggested a different file type. He said only a txt file is acceptable for compatibility and I'm lying about txt files...

These people would argue with a doctor that they don't need their completely black limb amputated...

They are already behind. Their November roadmap items are now listed for January, and everything is delayed. They are now two months behind, unable to deliver even the basic features of a standard control panel on time.

So, you all brokers are just shitting here.

If you knew more about software development (this is where you will reply about how you have lots of experience and I won't care just like I don't care about a garbage developer having "10 years experience") you would know two months behind is.... drumroll please... absolutely nothing.

They have all the features most need if you learn how to implement them a new way and use a decent server (ie not lightsail).

I doubt you will be welcome here when you just insult us and the product. At least I assume "brokers" isn't a positive word.

Don't understand the whole point of this discussion given product is very NEW. You could evaluate other products that fit your requirements and move on. Admins @ Do we need a little bit of moderation here?

standtech I like that enhance isn't heavy handed with mod actions. Why should they hide and bury dissenting views? It's a slippery slope. The community can self-police, as is evident by this thread. Plus it's good for morale when we can all come together as a community to dump on a douche LOL

1-2 months behind, and getting some tweaks, fixes, new features every month, that we ask and going to use... i'm happy enough 🙂

i mean i just compare it with Cpanel and whmcs updates, slower, bloatware and things almost nobody need.

I have an open case with PL*** that is almost 90 days without resolution.... Just sayin... Software takes time... and the more complex it becomes, the more time it takes. When was the last time you deployed a centrally managed Plesk "cluster"? Oh, yeah, right... not since Plesk abandoned its Plesk Expand product... and even that was... BUGGY.

I like the forums as is, as long as we don’t start logging in and seeing 1000 spam posts and no actual involvement from enhance (as sone other forums have).

Hi All, I don't believe there is any moderation needed here - everyone's opinion/experience is welcome and we'd highly encourage constructive conversation around that.

As many of you have rightly pointed out we are behind on the scheduled roadmap and it is subject to change. The nature of software development makes it difficult to accurately schedule releases with changes, new bug reports, unforeseen circumstances etc. There are likely to be further delays and changes but we will always do our best to communicate this through the roadmap.

As always keep the feedback and feature request coming in 🙂
