I have a spare OVH dedi that i wanted to use for a new enhance install.
for whatever reason the available installation OS's are Ubuntu 20.04 and 23.10
Will enhance work on 23.10?
i see another thread where you plan to support 24 when it is released.
otherwise im kind sool
Ubuntu 23.04
Enhance don't support installing on 23.10.
Will it work? I haven't tried it but, more than likely. If you do run into issues though, I would imagine the Enhance team ask you to run 22.04 to rule out the issue being 23.10.
Are you sure 22.04 isn't an option? I have a few bare metal servers and VPS's with OVH which all have 22.04 available.
The best thing to do here would be to install 20.04 then upgrade to 22.04 using do-release-upgrade.

This will enable you to update to 24.04 when it is available.
SharedGrid
Possibly a VPs may have it available.
It may be the dedi i have is not able to use their image? not sure. but it defo not in there.

sip I have played around with the install script when I tried to install enhance in a privledged LXC container. After a lot of tweaking it completed the setup but had issues. Anyway...
IIRC there is a single line of code that checks if its the correct ubuntu version. If you change that it should continue the script. Whether or not packages would be available etc is another matter but if you just want to get passed the OS check that should work.
Obviously... can't expect production stability or support if you're running unsupported OS.

Enhance will only support LTS versions. Upgrade Ubuntu 20.04 to Ubuntu 22.04 is only 2 command.
