matypa For those familiar with Enhance and with some software development experience:
How long would it take to develop Enhance as we know it from scratch? With a team of 3 people, would 5 months be enough?
But maybe I'm underestimating the complexity? Would love to hear from those who have more insight into the codebase or similar project experience.
I've been seeing a lot of comments like this lately about how easy it is to create an "Enhance replica," but they couldn't be more wrong. Itās not as easy as it sounds. Creating a control panel that truly makes a difference isnāt just about hiring three or four skilled developers and calling it a day!. If it were that simple, weād have dozens of Enhance-level panels popping up left and right.
Even tech giants like Google, with unlimited resources and the ability to hire the best developers in the world, have struggled to compete with established products in certain markets. Why? Because itās not just about good code , itās about innovation, deep system-level knowledge, long-term project management, real-world testing at scale, and of course, long, never-ending efforts night and day to keep the quality and support top-notch. Let me tell you, this is extremely difficult to achieve.
If building an "Enhance" alternative were that straightforward, Iād be asking why no one has already done it. Last time I checked, most new panels entering the market arenāt even close to making cloud hosting management a childās play like Enhance did. That said, thereās still plenty of room for improvement for the Enhance team. Theyāre not perfect, nothing is.
