Enhance used to be a fantastic platform before the invasion of impatient users who throw tantrums at every release delay as if they were waiting for Santa Claus. Some even go as far as calling unforeseen issues âexcusesâ or using other absurdities more fitting for a gossip forum than a professional environment.
A release of this scale is a serious, complex process that takes as much time as needed. Release dates are always indicative, if you donât understand that, maybe this industry isnât for you. Weâre all waiting for something (I, for instance, am waiting for Node.js), but you wonât see me complaining every five seconds on the forum. Instead, I evaluate whether these delays justify looking for alternatives. And every time, my answer is a clear NO.
Enhance, despite its roadmap delays and limitations, remains an incredibly convenient platform for us. I would never go back to cPanel. Adam and his team provide one of the most professional and efficient support experiences Iâve seen. Yet, instead of appreciating this, part of the community chooses to act childishly, creating unnecessary pressure rather than offering constructive feedback. Ironically, this communityâs behavior is the real weak point of the ecosystem.
If I were Adam, Iâd do what many others do when facing an out-of-control community: turn February 10 into âItâs ready when itâs ready.â
Sorry for the rant, but at this point, it really feels like a daycare.
