Can we see behind the scenes Enhance team (10 developers in office ) or as we know it’s only Adam with 10 coffee cups on his desk trying to catch up alone coding everything..
I to see short video of everyone behind Enhance, introducing themselves and showing us what are their daily activities/works will relax me…

Lots of great software has been developed by just one or two talented developers and went on to lead the market with millions in sales. Think WHMCS, Dovecot, PHP, Exim, SQLite, just to name a few. They’re now powering huge parts of the world’s infrastructure, with millions of dollars in sales for some of them. cPFence, for another tiny but shiny! example, is built by only two coders , the rest of our team handles support, admin, and sales.

Our guess is that Enhance is probably similar, maybe 2–3 developers in total, and most likely only Adam has full access to the entire codebase while the others work on specific parts. Also, Adam was the owner of a successful hosting company that got acquired by GoDaddy, so he definitely knows his way around this market.

cPFence Respectfully … I’ll be honest … I care a lot more about the future of Enhance than whether some people here feel annoyed. If the platform doesn’t improve or address key issues, that affects people’s businesses and livelihoods. That matters more than a few uncomfortable conversations on the forum.

If things were getting addressed, there wouldn’t be this cycle of repeated feedback. The fact that it keeps coming up says more about the situation than the people raising it.

We believe that adding your feedback once is more than enough. But if you still think that one or two posts aren’t enough and you really care about the future of Enhance, then it’s better to keep the repeated negative feedback in tickets. Constant negativity on the forum is affecting Enhance’s sales and driving people away.

cPFence I understand your point, but pushing these concerns into private tickets defeats the whole purpose of a community forum. The forum exists so we can share feedback publicly, discuss openly, and hold each other (and the team) accountable.

If repeated concerns are affecting sales, that’s a sign the issues need to be addressed … not just hidden away in tickets. Transparency works both ways.

Not everything needs to be repeated endlessly to be transparent. But each to his own, that’s how public forums work. Hopefully, the Enhance team will add some forum rules to keep things moderate and reasonable.

cPFence Honestly, you’re starting to sound like part of the Enhance team the way you’re defending this so hard. But I get it … you care about selling your security solution here, so of course you don’t want too much “negativity” scaring people off.

But let’s not forget … we’re all here because we care about Enhance working better for everyone. That benefits all of us, including those selling services around it.

cPFence the whole situation is due to enhance not giving a clear answer on so many questions missing. Deadlines etc, people here including me are not trying to diminish enhance sales, but to be heard , and also share feedback .

If community was complaining about feature that are not added, that werent promised as coming soon 2 years ago I would agree with you, but that's not the case here ... This "bad publicity" and "negativity" is solely driven from enhances team actions and it's up to them to address it NOT hide it .

For gods shake we have members here almost begging to be able to help enhance with even simple stuff (like open sourcing whmcs module ,)and I til recently were ignored.

So back to my point, enhance needs to address it with actions .

Obviously, we do care about Enhance since our product is built specifically for it. We were genuinely enjoying contributing to this community, but lately the atmosphere has been less appealing and pretty annoying, so we'll just stick to posting cPFence updates until things improve.

cPFence I get that you care about Enhance because your product depends on it … but honestly, if that’s the case, I’d expect you to care even more about the issues being raised here. Stepping back from the conversation because the “atmosphere” feels negative doesn’t really help anyone. If anything, it feels like you’re more concerned about protecting your business image than pushing for the platform to improve, which is what would actually help your customers and Enhance in the long run.

Telling people to stop raising concerns because it’s uncomfortable? That’s not the answer. The fact that users still have to bring up these issues means they haven’t been solved yet. I think someone like you, providing a valuable service to Enhance users, should be the first to advocate for fixing these problems … not stepping away from them.

cPFence Fair enough … you’re right, you’re not responsible for Enhance itself. But my point wasn’t about you protecting Enhance’s image. I was simply saying that as someone whose product depends on this platform, I’d expect you to care just as much (if not more) than the rest of us about seeing it improve.

But hey, since we’re both wishing each other well … good luck with those cPFence updates!

Don’t worry, you won’t be bothered anymore. You can take my word on it. Feel free to ask the Enhance team for a full desk tour next time too, not just a short confession video like the one you just asked for.

"Version X.X.X Released" : has become a reason for disappointing rants and raves in this community due to constantly holding off important updates. I stopped following up on community updates for a long time as the "roadmap" wasn't moving much. Hoping for the better updates in the coming quarter.

You're right and I'm sorry for the controversy. We love your product and we're debating here because of this, but some things are really weird. I thank you for your presence and for your kindness, but at the third major patch that adds languages, it is normal that users complain because the backup logs are still missing.

Things like backup logs (which we had) should be done asap, I mean, we are not talking about bugs or features, but about common sense, and when common sense is missing, than here we are to complain, that's all. Let's hope that the next releases take a more functional and less "homework" direction.
