pratik_asabe You clearly have not experienced the issues end users get, not your fault, when your customers suffer from serious hack or infections and when they need to restore only specific parts and not the whole god damn website along with 5-6 rapidly changing sub domains then you'll understand the importance of such a insignificant feature..
That sounds like a problem you have, I've had to take on clients with hacked sites, clean them up and get them to a point of doing regular updates and ensuring they follow good hygiene when it comes to plugins, themes and custom code. If they don't, then I'd rather not have them as a customer.
The scenario you're talking about doesn't sound like the run of the mil WordPress site. What you're describing 95% of clients don't ever require it, or have the knowledge to utilize it. This specific customer sounds like they just need more than the average WordPress site. There's a good 500 sites, clients have never logged into in the last year.
pratik_asabe i was there buddy, i was there in everyone's shoes, when you you work for years and years you see all the things you once thought would not exist in real world...
I think you might mis-understand the statement. It's not about the past, it's about the present. What you consider to be important others don't, and understand why is what is meant by the statement. I understand why you want it.
pratik_asabe this is the problem with most community members here, they just can't see and accept that enhance is not listning to users and yes, they should've done it way before and im not asking to deliver this feature tomorrow im not delusional...
Sure, let's agree they're not listening, then how do your solve the issue of how much they've produced over the last year? That doesn't seem like a listening problem, because if they listened, they wouldn't be this far behind.
You didn't say anything about timeline in your complaint, so it's safe to assume it should have been yesterday or tomorrow?
